I and a small group of people were resurrected on an island as 100% synthetic human beings. The question is can we survive as humans if everything about us is synthetic.
The answer is no, because we need the neurotransmitters and microbes to function as human beings. Therefore the colony of synthetics will slowly perish without food. Furthermore there is no cell regeneration in this colony.
