The sign is clear. I can choose to smoke and enter Nirvana, or I can quit and live my life as a runner. I like the idea of not smoking. That way, I can concentrate on my training.
This is the test. To be able to quit a 45-year addiction. That will be a feat. Then I will lose weight and run again. It is a simple plan. I am not going to buy any packs anymore. I will continue to quit both cigarettes and sugar. The latter is much harder.
I take it as a test of will. The fly trap is already consuming me. I need to get out of it.
